Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra
On Friday, ED raided the residence of Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra in Santa Cruz in the pornography case. According to the information received, this raid has been going on since 6 in the morning. Raj Kundra has also been arrested earlier in this case. Search operation is being conducted at other locations including the residence of film actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband. The investigating agency is conducting search operations at 15 locations. Search operations are being conducted at many places in Uttar Pradesh including Maharashtra.
ED had given notice to vacate the house
Let us tell you that Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been accused of money laundering through Bitcoin. Due to which ED had investigated this matter. After which, on October 3, ED gave notice to Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra to vacate the Juhu bungalow and Pune farmhouse. Raj Kundra had filed a petition against this notice in the Mumbai High Court. On November 27, ED had given a raid notice. However, due to the court hearing, this raid took place today on 19th November. The ED team had reached Shilpa Shetty’s house since 6 in the morning.
Is this the whole matter?
In the year 2017, an investment company named Gain Bitcoin was launched. People were made to invest in this company to mine Bitcoin. In return for which people were promised a heavy return of 10 percent. People invested a lot of money in this Ponzi scheme. But after just one year in 2018, this company was exposed. When people’s money started losing money, complaints were registered. After this, in 2018 and 2019, Maharashtra Police started investigating this case. When this matter reached ED, many people including Amit Bhardwaj were arrested. Meanwhile, 285 bitcoins were sent to Raj Kundra from the account of Amit Bhardwaj, the mastermind of this scam. After which Raj Kundra’s name also got involved in this case. The value of these bitcoins is said to be Rs 150 crore. Now in this case, ED has raided Raj Kundra’s house.
