Kiran Rao recently appeared on Kareena Kapoor’s podcast show Auratne Kya Chahiye? (What Women Wants). Here Kiran Rao talked openly about Aamir Khan. Kiran Rao told, ‘Once Aamir likes something, he completely pursues it. He is 100 percent human. If he doesn’t like it, he’s really honest, but if he likes something, he’ll really try his best for it. He is truly one of those wonderful people you can work with as a creative person. Kiran Rao further praised Aamir Khan and said, ‘There is no place for hatred in him. Aamir takes his time. They don’t take decisions until they reach the right decision point. Sometimes it becomes really troublesome. But this is their way of working.
Film together even after divorce
Aamir Khan first married Reena Dutta in 1986. From this marriage, Aamir Khan had two children, Junaid Khan and Ayra Khan. This marriage of both lasted for some time and Aamir Khan later got divorced. Aamir divorced Reena Dutta in 2002 and became friends with Kiran Rao. Both of them had worked together in the film Lagaan. Kiran Rao used to be an assistant director. Both of them became friends and friendship turned into love. After this, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao got married on 28 December 2005. After marriage, both of them have a son, Azad. However, the couple divorced in 2021 after a few years of marriage. Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta have worked together even after divorce. Aamir Khan was also active in Kiran Rao’s film Lapata Ladies. Before this, they have worked together in films like Dhobi Ghat, Delhi Belhi and Lagaan.
