Rajkumar Rao
Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘Bhool Luke Maa Maaf’ has got entangled with the release. The film was first to be released in theaters. But due to some reasons, the makers announced its direct OTT release. But this film has now been controversial before its release on OTT. The OTT release of the film has been banned. The Bombay High Court on Saturday issued an interim order preventing Madock Films from releasing ‘Bhool Chuk Chuk’ on the OTT platform before completing the 8 -week theater run with PVR Iinox.
The decision came after the announcement of Madock Films that the film will release the theater release due to ‘tight security arrangements across the country’ and will be released directly on the Amazon Prime Video on 16 May. The announcement was made just a day before the film’s release on 9 May of the film. The production house said in a statement on social media, “In view of recent events and tight security system across the country, we have decided to bring our family entertainment, forgotten to your homes directly on May 16 – only on prime videos, worldwide.”
PVR pleaded for help in High Court
Soon after, PVR Iinox approached the court and demanded that the film be released in theaters first. It states that the change made at the last minute is a clear violation of his contract, which was signed on May 6, 2025. He also reported that the agreement included a period of 8 weeks before streaming the film online. Rajkummar Rao and Vamika Gabbi are seen together on screen for the first time in the forgiveness directed and written by Karan Sharma. The trailer of the film was also released in the past, which was liked by the people. Now the release of this film is entangled in controversies.
