Rajkummar Rao and Vamika Gabbi’s romantic drama comedy film ‘Bhool Chu Chhol’ is getting a lot of love from the audience. The initial estimates of Sunday, 25 May have come out and the film has done a better weekend business than expected.

According to Caikanilk, on Sunday, ‘Bhool Chuk Maid’ has collected a better collection from Saturday and earned Rs 10.94 crore. The film was released in theaters on May 23 and earned Rs 7 crore on Friday. On Saturday, the film showed a slight lead and earned Rs 9.50 crore. With Sunday’s collection, the first weekend collection of BCM has been Rs 27.44 crore and the final figures in India can go up to Rs 29-30 crore.

At the box office, Rajkummar Rao and Vamika Gabbi’s film is also benefiting after the release of two Hollywood films. Despite the knocking of ‘Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning’ and ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ in theaters, this Hindi movie is earning well. After the all-time blockbuster ‘Chhava’, ‘Bhool Chuk Maid’ can also prove to be a superhit. Mid-Budget Hit is not a new achievement for Dinesh Vijan’s Madock Films. Earlier, he surprised the success of ‘Jara Hara Ke Jara Bachake’ and ‘Munjya’. Both films were made in a low budget and proved to be a hit.

‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ was first to be released on 9 May. However, due to Operation Sindoor and later events, the film changed its release date. A few days later, Madock issued a statement, stating that he had decided not to release it in theaters due to bad times, but asked to do it on a premiere Prime Video. However, PVR Iinox had raised controversy over the sudden theater release change of Madock Films. He approached the court on 16 May, objecting to the decision to stream on Amazon Prime Video. However, PVR Iinox finally won and OTT release stopped.
