Actor Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and filmmaker Karan Johar expressed grief over Air India aircraft on Thursday and prayed for the safety and goodness of all the people on it.

Significantly, the aircraft crashed in an area near Ahmedabad Airport. Air India aircraft AL 171, going from Ahmedabad to London, crashed shortly after flying outside the Gatvik Airport. There were 242 passengers on the aircraft.

Akshay wrote on the social media platform X, “I am shocked and stunned by the Air India accident. At this time there are only prayers.”

Akshay was to attend the promotion of the Telugu film “Kannappa” with co-star Vishnu Manchu in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) on Friday, but it has been canceled in view of this tragedy. The team has also decided to postpone the trailer launch for a day.

Salman Khan’s proposed program was also canceled at a program in the Indian Supercross Racing League on Thursday after the plane crash.
