Here are some famous poems of the ‘Padma Bhushan’ awardee-

1. Madhushala

from home to go to the tavern

walks the drinker
Which way should I go?
Confused about who is innocent?
Everyone tells different paths,
But let me tell you this-
Follow the path and walk alone.
will find a tavern

2. Agneepath

You will never get tired,
You will never stop,
You will never turn back,
Take an oath, take an oath, take an oath,
path of fire, path of fire, path of fire
don’t you stop
raise the bow and strike
you strike first
blazing like fire
alert like a deer
roar like a lion
call like a conch
Don’t stop, don’t get tired
Don’t bow down, don’t stop

3. The whole world is sleeping

The thinking swans are beautiful,
But shun their company,
of vast void
Who is going to be your partner?
the whole world is sleeping

4. What’s gone is gone

there was a star in life
I thought he was very cute
he drowned he drowned
look at amber’s joy
how many of its stars have broken
how many loved ones are left behind
Where can we find those who were left behind?
But speak on the broken strings
when does amber mourn
let it go

5. Neither you are sleeping nor I am sleeping

But Yamini is getting settled in the middle.
The stars that were visible in the east,
He came right above us,
The western horizon calls them now,
Ours and yours will not stop us.
Neither you are sleeping nor I am sleeping
