The terrorist attack on Tuesday in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. In this attack in Basaron Valley, known as ‘Mini Switzerland’, terrorists fired indiscriminately on tourists, killing 26 people and injuring more than 20 people. Lashkar-e-Taiba’s ally ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) took responsibility for the attack and investigation revealed that the terrorists targeted Hindu tourists on the basis of religion. The attack is one of the cruel attacks in the Kashmir Valley after the 2019 Pulwama attack, which again exposed the threat of terrorism in Kashmir. The Australian-Indian co-construction ‘Hotel Mumbai’ is based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks (26/11), in which Lashkar-e-Taiba militants attacked places such as Taj Hotel, Oberoi Trident and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Actors like Dev Patel and Armaan Khan in the film show the bravery of hotel staff and guests, who fought bravely against the terrorists. The film reveals human emotions, fear and courage.
