Mumbai Actor Govinda is fine now. Govinda was injured by a bullet at his home in Mumbai on Tuesday. He was admitted to the hospital. It has been told by the hospital that actor Govinda was shot 2 inches below his knee. Which has been removed through surgery. Mumbai Police is investigating the bullet injury in Govinda’s leg. Mumbai Police wants to know why Govinda was keeping the gun loaded in his house also. Meanwhile, Govinda’s nephew and comedian Krishna Abhishek has informed that he is currently in Australia and that is why he did not go to the hospital to inquire about his uncle’s well-being. However, Krishna’s wife Kashmira went to the hospital to meet Govinda on Tuesday.
Govinda’s manager had told after the accident that a bullet was suddenly fired at around 6.45 am on Tuesday morning. According to Govinda’s manager, the actor had to go to Kolkata. His wife was already in Kolkata. The manager told the police that Govinda was going to keep his revolver in the cupboard. At the same time the revolver slipped from Govinda’s hand and fell on the ground and it fired. The bullet hit Govinda in the leg and he immediately called his manager as well as brother Kirti Kumar. After which Govinda was taken to the hospital. Where the doctors informed the police that actor Govinda had been shot. The police had started investigating the incident with this.
After the bullet was removed from his leg through surgery, Govinda released an audio message thanking all the fans. Govinda has been a famous actor of Bollywood. Govinda has been a favorite of the youth because of his dance moves. Govinda is also famous for tickling the audience by doing comedy roles. Govinda’s family is originally from Varanasi, UP.
