Himesh Reshammiya’s music director father Vipin Reshammiya passed away on Wednesday. On Thursday, Himesh along with people from the industry paid tribute to him with tearful eyes. Photos and videos of Vipin Reshammiya’s last journey are viral on social media. Many people including Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, singer Shaan had come to bid final farewell to Himesh Reshammiya’s father.
Himesh’s father was ill
Himesh Reshammiya performed the last rites of his father in Mumbai on Thursday. In a video, Himesh is seen going to the crematorium for his father’s last rites. He also greeted the photographers with folded hands. Kishwar Merchant and many people from the industry were seen at the crematorium. Himesh’s father was 87 years old. He had breathing problems and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
A family friend confirmed his death
The death of Himesh’s father was confirmed by Vanita Thapar. She told ETimes, yes, he had breathing problems. He was admitted to Kokilaben and died at 8:30 pm on Wednesday. She told that she is a family friend and used to call Himesh’s father Papa.
