Vipin Reshammiya, father of playback singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya, has passed away. Late music director and producer Vipin Reshammiya breathed his last on September 18 (Wednesday) at 8:30 pm. He was 87 years old and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was having trouble breathing. Along with this, he was also suffering from age-related health problems.
The funeral will be held today
Himesh Reshammiya’s father’s last rites will be performed on 19 September (Thursday) in Juhu. This information was given by fashion designer Vanita Thapar to the Times of India. Vanita said that on Thursday (19 September) morning, Vipin Reshammiya’s body will first be brought home and then the doors of the house will be opened for his last audience.
Himesh considers his father as his guru
Vipin was not only Himesh’s father but also his Guru. Himesh Reshammiya himself said this in an interview. Himesh Reshammiya said, ‘My father is my God, my Guru. My music is a reflection of what my father has taught me.’
These films were produced
Vipin Reshammiya produced ‘The Expose’ (2014) and ‘Tera Suroor’ (2016). His son Himesh Reshammiya played the lead role in both these films. Apart from this, Vipin also composed music for a film named ‘Insaaf Ka Suraj’ (1990), but due to some reason this film could not be released.
