New Delhi. This is the most difficult time of life for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s ‘Akshara’ i.e. Hina Khan and her family. The actress is going through the third stage of breast cancer. Recently, she shared this sad information with the fans. Hina is undergoing treatment but she is going through the side effects of chemotherapy during cancer treatment. To fight the side effects of chemotherapy, she wants to stay strong with mental health. Therefore, with a heavy heart, she shaved her head herself.
Ever since Hina Khan shared information about her health with fans, fans have been praying for her. Hina has faith in herself along with God that she will win this battle. After the first chemotherapy session, Hina Khan had cut her hair short. Now as the treatment process progresses, Hina is seeing side effects. She does not want to trouble herself with the continuous hair fall. That is why she decided to shave her head.

The actress has shared a video on social media. In this video, she told why she took this big step. Hina’s pain was expressed in this video. Along with this, she is seen talking about mental health. In the video shared by Hina Khan, the actress is seen shaving her head with a trimmer. Also, she showed the fans how a handful of hair comes in hand by running her hand through the hair.
Hina’s pain spilled out
In the video, Hina Khan says- ‘You can only win this when you embrace yourself, accept it and I accept the wounds of this war. She said that I think when you accept it, you come one step closer to healing and I really want to focus on that aspect of my life.’
This step was taken for mental health
Hina Khan further said, ‘I don’t want to go through that process where I put my hand in my hair and a handful of hair comes in my hand. It is very stressful, very depressing. I don’t want to go through that. I have to take those steps which are in my control before that. I also feel that if your mental health is right then your physical health is 10 times better than that. Mental health is in my hands. I will have physical pain in this journey, but I want to remain mentally strong. Hina Khan said that this is a step towards that.
