New Delhi. Action has started due to the broadcast of pornography content on actor Ejaz Khan’s show ‘House Arrest’. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has issued summons to Ejaz Khan and owl app CEO Vibhu Aggarwal. Both have been asked to appear before the Commission by 9 May. NCW has said that such pornographic material hurts women’s self -esteem. Not only this, it also promotes the harassment of women. On the other hand, all the episodes of the show ‘House Arest’ have been removed from the owl app.

The controversy began after some video clips of the show ‘House Arest’ to be aired on the OTT platform ‘Owl’ went viral on social media. People are demanding to close the show. People are furious after seeing the pornographic content of this show. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has raised the demand for banning the owl app. Let us know that there has been a dispute about the owl app earlier too. People allege that most of the materials shown in the owl app are obscene. Earlier yesterday, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also took the matter seriously and said that it will not work.

Nishikant Dubey, chairman of the Communications and Information Technology Committee of Parliament, wrote in his social media post that our committee will take action on it. He also demanded action in the matter from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Actor Ejaz Khan hosts the show. In the viral video of the show, women contestants were asked to take off their undergarments in the name of the task. In another video, Ejaz Khan is asking women participants about sex positions. Not only this, Ejaz Khan is asking the female participant to create a sex position with the male contestant.
