New Delhi. Bollywood star John Abraham has been active in the film industry for the last two decades. He is not only a great actor but also a producer. Recently John Abraham told that even today the makers do not trust him and his filmmaking. He says that even today he has to struggle to get support for his films, because the people of the production house ignore his messages.
On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, John Abraham said, ‘I produced Vicky Donor. Made films like Madras Cafe, Batla House, but even today I have to convince the studio chief that this is a different film and please invest in my film. Even today they do not trust me 100 percent and they tell me that the budget is too high.’
I do not charge more than my capacity
John Abraham also talked about his fees. He said, ‘As an actor, my fees do not put a burden on the film. I feel that if the film earns money, I will also earn. I do not want to put any kind of burden on the film. So whatever is my status, whatever is my standard, I make films according to that. I am proud of my content.’
