Actor Ali Asgar has also been associated with this show for a long time. He has been making the audience laugh by playing the role of a grandmother in comedy shows for a long time. Ali Asgar made the audience laugh a lot by playing the role of a grandmother in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ between 2013 and 2016 and then he was a part of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ between 2016 and 2017 and he was seen in the role of a grandmother in the show. Now recently, TV’s Bhishma Pitamah i.e. Mukesh Khanna talked to Ali Asgar about actors doing comedy by wearing women’s clothes in comedy shows.

Mukesh Khanna was seen talking to Ali Asgar about this on his YouTube channel ‘Bhishma International’, where he talked about male actors doing comedy by wearing women’s clothes and called these characters vulgar, to which Ali Asgar also responded. As soon as Mukesh Khanna talked to Ali Asgar about the characters of Dadi and Nani played by him and called it vulgar, he said to Ali Asgar – ‘Don’t you find it vulgar?’
Ali Asgar’s answer to Mukesh Khanna’s question
After listening to Mukesh Khanna, Ali Asgar replied- ‘This is your personal opinion, so I cannot say anything on this. People always ask me why they don’t make a girl a boy? I think the reason for this is that no one’s grandmother will be like mine. She will not be that energetic. Not only this, the shooting timing is also strange. We used to shoot late at night. Now if you make a senior actress a grandmother, then it will be difficult for her to shoot so late at night.’
Mukesh Khanna cut off the conversation
Interrupting Ali Asgar, Mukesh Khanna said, ‘This is not the right reason. Doesn’t any heroine work all night?’ Ali says, ‘My second reason is that when we make a boy a woman, it is not a fundamental right, rather we can take a lot of creative freedom and have fun. Because this character is not original, there is nothing to be angry about. The base of the show is a family that is full of glamour. There are two sisters, a grandmother, Gutthi, a servant and a wife. They have no money, they are poor. All the characters we played in the show were weak.’

Ali Asgar further says- ‘Kapil’s knowledge is also great, he knows the pulse of the audience very well. He knows very well which jokes will work on the audience and which will prove to be useless. We have seen this in live shows. Whatever he used to say, that is what used to happen. He is blessed in this matter.’
