The actress revealed that she confessed her feelings to Zaheer within a week of meeting him and described it as ‘love at first sight’. Recalling that moment, Sonakshi said, ‘I told Zaheer that I love you within a week.

I am very excited. There was some recognition, there is a click when you know that this is your person and this is your only person. This is what happened to me, and this has never happened to me before. I always took my time, but with him it happened instantly. Sonakshi admitted that she was the first to fall in love. The marriage took place on 23rd June

The wedding was officially held on June 23 in a private ceremony at Sonakshi’s Mumbai residence. Before this, both of them had kept their relationship a secret for many years.
