Now talking to the Times of India, Adar said that people misunderstood their words and said that these are ‘false stories’. He said that people made it something else and pointed to someone else. He also said that whatever is being said about his comment is not right for his, Alekha and Tara’s families. Adar said, ‘There are many false stories, misconceptions, but there is no fact check. Unfortunately when this happens and people make stories, many families are affected. A lot of things have been written in it from day one. Everyone has remained silent about it due to respect. Then people take the freedom to say anything about their choice. This is unfair to her (pointing to Alekha) and her family, me and my family (pointing to Tara) and her family. Obviously, there is no truth in this.

Adar further said that when I get married, I will not think about anyone else. In this episode, he said, ‘There is no truth behind whatever has been written … He misunderstood the things he said and took out 10 seconds from it. And then people made their opinion about it. People made it something else and pointed to someone else. My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present and now my future. So we have grown up like this and we never intended to point to anyone. When I was getting married, I didn’t think about anyone else. What happened is unfortunate. But there is no truth behind it.
Alekha also gave clarification
Alekha also talked about this and said, ‘A completely separate story was made which was really not appropriate or good. Even she (Tara) knows that we (Adar and I) are friends for so long. This whole story is baseless. Adar further said, ‘Things do not work for some reason. This does not mean that you get out and start talking about people. ‘
