New Delhi. Imran Khan talked about his battle with depression and his decision to quit Bollywood in 2015. He recently told in the We Are Yuva podcast that he loves his Aamir Khan very much, but they could not spend much time together as the senior actor was very busy with his work. Let us tell you that Imran Khan is known for films like ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘I Hate Love Stories’ and ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’. He was last seen in the 2015 film ‘Katti Batti’.
Imran said, ‘For the bonding and respect I have for Aamir, he is a very busy person. So, we used to meet only occasionally. He used to be completely busy with three films. So, the conversation did not get a chance to move forward. Life is like this. Ultimately it was my mother who was able to help me.’
Imran Khan said, ‘Aamir is very strong and fearless. When he believes that something is right, nothing can force him to back down from it. He has no fear in this matter. He has a great sense of conviction, which I admire and always praise him for. I have always tried to follow him. I have worked with him very closely and personally. You would not believe that everyone else would be completely exhausted and fall down, but he moves forward and will keep moving forward.
Imran said, “I have worked with him in double shifts, then we shot at night for different promotional things. At that time I was tired… the work was over. But he was still perfect and fine and he came back to the set. It is really scary to watch him work.
Let us tell you that in September 2023, Imran Khan talked about dealing with depression for the first time. He admitted that he had tried to harm himself. The scars on his body are old wounds that still hurt. However, time heals everything. Love empowers and uplifts, and if you are so lucky … you have found love like mine, I think it starts to heal those wounds. It covers you in a layer of protective armor. You can never fully understand the extent to which your love empowers me, but know that I am grateful to you.’
