Balraj Sahini was born on 1 May 1913 in Rawalpindi, Punjab. Balraj Sahini’s family was a rich business family and there was no shortage of money. Balraj was also a brain from childhood and was very smart in reading. After his schooling, Balraj studied at the Great College of Government of Lahore, established by the British. Along with this, Balraj also studied from Universities named Gordon College and Vishwa Bharati. Balraj Sahini was climbing the stairs of youth, when there was a freedom movement in the country. Balraj got married on 6 December 1936. But soon his mind got bored with marriage and started fluttering to jump into the freedom struggle. After some time Balraj Sahini met Mahatma Gandhi and jumped into the movement against the British with him. Mahatma Gandhi advised Balraj Sahini to work in BBC London. Balraj obeyed and started working in BBC London. After this, he returned to India and started living in Mumbai with his wife.

While staying in Mumbai, Balraj was accepted by acting and decided to become a star himself. After this Balraj started Struggle and acted in the first film called ‘Insaaf’. But then another film came, which was called ‘Dharti Ke Lal’, which gave Balraj a special identity and pushed it towards stardom. After this, Balraj showed his acting and ruled millions of hearts.
