Famous singer Udit Narayan is already in the news due to a viral video. This viral video created a big controversy. Singers were seen to avoid the matter by reacting to this and clearly said that there was no fault in what happened. Actually in the viral video, he was seen kissing women fans during a concert. This dispute was not yet completely over that now new trouble has arisen for them once again. This time his first wife Ranjana Jha has initiated legal action against him, alleging violation of his rights and misuse of his property. He recently appeared in the Supaul Family Court on 21 February, where he rejected the possibility of any kind of agreement.

Distances came only after marriage

According to media reports, it is being claimed that Ranjana Jha’s lawyer Ajay Kumar revealed that she wanted to join Udit Narayan again due to her growing age and health concerns. Despite the court’s efforts to reconcile between the two, veteran singers were adamant on refusing to live with them. The two were married on 7 December 1984 and since then there has been nothing right between the two. He allegedly left his wife after gaining fame in 1988. After increasing controversies in 2006, Ranjana approached the Women’s Commission, where she allegedly promised to provide her financial assistance including a flat, but later retracted it.

Udit said these things somewhere in rescue

Due to this, a new maintenance case was filed in the family court. In his written rescue, Udit Narayan accused Ranjana Jha of trying to make money and giving wrong information to the court. She also mentioned that in 2013, a prior dispute in the Bihar Women’s Commission was resolved by mutual consent, where she agreed to pay a monthly payment of Rs 15,000, which was later increased to Rs 25000 in 2021. Apart from this, Udit Narayan claimed that he had given a house worth Rs 1 crore to the first wife, agricultural land and jewelry worth Rs 25 lakh.

These claims made

Despite these claims, now the first wife Ranjana claimed that she had a land worth Rs 18 lakh, which she was selling, but Udit did not let her sell. He refused to consider him a wife. He also said that when he tried to meet him in Mumbai, he harassed him. Human rights lawyer S.K. Jha has proceeded the matter by filing two petitions in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and Bihar Human Rights Commission (BHRC). Jha highlighted that it is illegal to re -marry the previous marriage under the Indian Constitution and Hindu Marriage Act without legislation. He argued that Udit Narayan’s actions weaken the rights of women and violate human rights.
