Amazon MGM Studios, along with Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, has announced to premiere of its multi -rich original film ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ on 28 February 2025 in theaters of India, UK, US, UAE, Australia and New Zealand on 28 February 2025. The film is made in Malegaon, a small town in the state of Maharashtra and is inspired by real events. The ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The film is directed by Reema Kagti and the screenplay is written by Varun Grover. It stars talented artists like Adarsh Gaurav, Vineet Kumar Singh and Shashank Arora in the lead roles.

This emotional and inspiring story is now going to release in theaters after receiving appreciation at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), 68th BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival and Red Sea International Film Festival. The film depicts human relationships, friendship and transformational power of filmmaking, which will be shown in theaters in India, UK, US UAE, Australia and New Zealand on February 28. After its performance in theaters, ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ will be on digital premiere Prime Video, which will reach out to India and more than 240 countries and regions around the world.

‘Superboys of Malegaon’ is a film based on the life of Nasir Sheikh, an amateur filmmaker from Malegaon. Residents of Malegaon turn to Bollywood cinema to avoid their everyday fatigue and struggle. Nasir inspires the people of Malegaon to make a film with the people of Malegaon. He tries to realize his dream in association with his unusual but dedicated friends, which brings a new energy and enthusiasm throughout the city. This film is a poignant but inspirational story based on filmmaking and friendship, which shows what happens when these two worlds collide.
