Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 stuck in new controversy
Karni Sena Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat on Sunday threatened the makers of ‘Pushpa 2’, accusing the film of insulting the ‘Kshatriya’ community. Raj Shekhawat shared a post on Instagram and said, ‘Shekhawat’s negative role in the film Pushpa 2, this is an insult to the Kshatriyas again, Karni Sainiks should be ready, the producer of the film will be beaten soon.’ Let us tell you, Fahadh Faasil has played the role of villain Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the film. Now Karni Sena’s Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat has expressed his displeasure over the same character of Fahadh Faasil and has raised the demand to remove the word Shekhawat from the film.
Insult due to use of word ‘Shekhawat’
Raj Shekhawat alleged that the repeated use of the word ‘Shekhawat’ in the film has insulted the community. He demanded the makers of Pushpa 2 to remove this word from the film. He released a video in which he said, ‘Kshatriyas have been grossly insulted in the film. The ‘Shekhawat’ community has been presented in a wrong perspective. This industry has been insulting Kshatriyas in the name of freedom of expression and they have done the same thing again. Film makers should remove the continuous use of the word ‘Shekhawat’ from the film, otherwise Karni Sena will enter his house and beat him up and will go to any extent if necessary. There has been no response from the manufacturers yet in this matter. On the other hand, Pushpa 2 remains a blockbuster at the box office.

According to Sacknilk, Pushpa 2 earned a whopping Rs 294 crore globally on the first day of its release. With its strong collection, Pushpa 2 has broken the first day record of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ in Hindi language. Not only this, Allu Arjun’s film also broke the record of ‘RRR’ of Rs 156 crore and became the biggest domestic opener till date. On the fourth day, Pushpa 2 became the fastest Indian film to earn Rs 800 crore at the global box office.
Story and cast of the film
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Maithri Movie Makers and Muttamsetti Media, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ stars Allu Arjun as ‘Pushpa Raj’, Rashmika Mandanna as ‘Srivalli’ and Fahadh Faasil as ‘Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat’. The film’s lead actor Allu Arjun received a National Film Award for his performance in the first part. The first part of ‘Pushpa’, directed by Sukumar, showed the story of red sandalwood smuggling and now the second part takes that story forward.
