Treatment continued for three years
Talking about this, he said, ‘I had a lot of problems in walking in the year 2021. I was wondering whether this was just a phase in my life or whether my weight had increased too much. In such a situation, I was thinking of consulting a doctor. I kept wondering what was wrong with my back? Then my condition did not improve. I felt that my weight had increased a lot and hence I joined MMA and due to this the disease became more serious. I went and got my back checked, I thought there was something wrong with my spine and I took treatment like this for about three years.

Talking about the same, the actress further said, ‘My back has healed but I still cannot put weight on my leg. I slowly started limping and the way I walked became strange. After this, I had to undergo an MRI again because my knees started responding due to strange movements. By the time I reached this level, everything in my body was gone – my ankles, knees and back. During this time, Tanaaz went abroad where she had to live on a wheelchair. He said, ‘Whenever she went out in the evening, she would crawl back to her room in severe pain.’ For this I always had to take pain killers.

Amidst these increasing problems, doctors performed hip replacement surgery on Tanaaz Irani. Regarding this also, Tanaaz said, ‘After this surgery, he made me stand. When I stood on my feet I realized that one leg was longer than the other. After this I became more nervous. I cried and started screaming from my heart. I can’t believe that I will have to live like this for the rest of my life. I thought someone was joking with me. I didn’t want to live anymore. At present, a year has passed since the actress’s surgery and now her health is improving and now she has started walking without support.
