New Delhi. Actress Kangana Ranaut is called the Panga Queen of Bollywood. Kangana is the only actress who makes films a block buster without a hero. Viewers don’t like Star Kids
In an interview given to a channel, Kangana Ranaut, while speaking with Bebaki, said that Telugu and Kannada films have been rocking the box office in the past. Both RRR and KGF Chapter 2 have collected more than 100 crores. At the same time, Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa also did a business of 100 crores on the Hindi belt. Kangana further said that the Hindi versions of all these films have also left Bollywood films far behind in terms of earnings. Explaining the reason behind the falling graph of Bollywood, Kangana said that it happens because the audience does not like Star Kids but they are being allowed to watch such films.
‘Don’t know how to connect with the public’
At the same time, when Kangana Ranaut was asked what is it that is making the South film industry more successful than Bollywood. To which Kangana replied saying, ‘The way those people (South Film Industry) have a connection with their audience, that makes them more successful. What happens to us is that their children go abroad to study, talk in English, only watch Hollywood movies, eat food with a knife and talk differently, so how will they connect with the public?
‘Weird to look at, like boiled eggs’ – Kangana
Further, using words like strange and boiled eggs for Star Kids, Kangana says, ‘Even strangely, it looks like boiled eggs. His entire look has changed and people are not able to connect with him. Further clarifying her statement, Kangana says, ‘I do not mean to troll anyone at all.’ Kangana further gave the example of South actor Allu Arjun and said ‘Look how Pushpa looks like whom we know, every laborer is able to connect with her. Which of our hero can look like a laborer in today’s time, he cannot.’
On the work front, these days Kangana is busy promoting her film Dhaakad. Dhaakad is a spy action-thriller film. The film is to be released on May 20. Actors Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta will be seen alongside Kangana in this film directed by Rajneesh Ghai.
