Responding to this statement, Ajay Devgan tweeted and wrote – @KicchaSudeep my brother, if according to you Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Man .”

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai gave his reaction
Now the politics has heated up on this dispute and many politicians of Karnataka have jumped into this controversy. Now the reaction of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has come to the fore on the matter. He has openly supported Kicha. He said in a statement that what Kicha Sudeep said was absolutely correct. A state is formed on the basis of language and regional language is very important on the basis of state. Our states were formed yesterday because of language. I respect Sudeep’s statement. Earlier, Karnataka leader Siddaramaiah retweeted the actor’s tweet and said that Hindi was never our national language and never will be. It is the duty of every Indian to respect the linguistic diversity of our country. Every language has its own rich history, which people are proud of. I am proud to be Kannada!!
