Kirron Kher is suffering from a blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. She has been battling cancer for the last four years. Her health has improved a lot now, but she has not been able to defeat cancer yet. She became emotional while talking about it. She told how even during the treatment, she used to travel up and down from Chandigarh to Mumbai for the shooting of the reality talent show ‘India’s Got Talent’.
Kirron Kher said in an interview to AnyTV show, “I had quit acting. I was only doing ‘India’s Got Talent’ and used to come to Mumbai by road from my hometown Chandigarh during treatment. When I came to know about cancer, I distanced myself from everyone, even from films, but did not leave this show.”
Kiran got emotional. She said that everyone is afraid of facing a disease like cancer, but when this disease occurs, one has no other option but to face it. Kiran said, “People are afraid of the thought that one day they may get such a disease, but when it occurs, they have no other option but to face it. Its treatment is more difficult than the disease itself. The first six to eight months were very difficult, but you leave it in God’s hands. I have always believed, even while contesting elections, I have said that ‘this is not my fight; God fights for me.’
Kiran Kher further said, “We often think that this thing is under our control, but in reality God gives it shape.” Let us tell you, during the interview, Kiran told that her battle with cancer is not over yet. She is much better than before, but the battle is still on.
