Actresses Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu along with their daughter Inaaya on Monday evening performed the Herath festival puja at their home ahead of Maha Shivratri. He has shared Instagram pictures and a video. His younger daughter Inaya is also seen participating in this puja. Apart from this, members of Kunal’s family also participated in the worship. Sharing the post, both Soha and Kunal wished Happy Herath Parv and Mahashivratri. In the video, his daughter Inaya is seen serving food to father Kunal Khemu with her tiny hands.
Kunal Khemu, while wishing everyone a Happy Herath Parv and Shivratri, wrote, Herath Mubarak, Happy Mahashivratri to all, Wishing everyone peace, happiness, love and light, Om Namah Shivay! It can be seen in the video and pictures that Soha Ali Khan and Kunal are seen worshiping sitting on the ground in their house. During this, daughter Inaya is also worshiping. During the puja, she is seen pouring milk into the Kalash. Kunal Khemu was also seen blowing the conch in the puja. After this, the whole family performed milk-abhishek and worshiped God with Pandit ji.
Soha Ali Khan shared a picture of daughter Inaaya from her Instagram story, in which she is seen serving rajma to Kunal Khemu with a ladle. Sharing the photo, Soha wrote, ‘Lunch is served. Happy Herath! Apart from this, she has shared another picture in which Inaaya is wearing a white lehenga and is looking out of the window.
Soha has also shared a picture of herself and Kunal Khemu from the Instagram store, in which both are seen posing with each other. While Kunal Khemu is seen in a gray color kurta, Soha Ali Khan has chosen a green color suit for the occasion. Apart from this, Kunal and his entire family were seen together in the picture.
What happens Herath-
Herath festival is especially celebrated by Kashmiri Pandits. This festival is celebrated as a celebration of the marriage of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The Herath festival begins three-four days before Mahashivratri and continues till two days after Shivaratri.
