New Delhi. The National Film Awards of 2023 were announced today. Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey have been voted the best actors. Rani Mukherjee has been awarded the National title of Best Actress. Rani Mukherjee received the award for her film ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Verses Norway’. Shah Rukh Khan was declared the best actor for film Jawan and Vikrant Massey for 12th failure. Actress Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Jackfruit’ was chosen as the best Hindi film. The 12th fail got the title of Best Feature Film. The Best Choreography award has been received by the song ‘Dhindora Baje Re’ from the film ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The song has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.
Harshvardhan Rameshwar of the film ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol has won the Best Music Direction Award for the background music of the film. Apart from this, ‘Animal’ has also received special mentor. The film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga. Actor Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Sam Bahadur’ has also won. The film has received the award for Best Makeup and Best Costume Designer. Srikanth Desai has received Sachin Lovolkar, Divya Gambhir and Nidhi Gambhir for the costume design for makeup. Apart from this, ‘Sam Bahadur’ has also been chosen as the best film promoting National, Social and Invournment values. Director Sudipto Sen was rewarded for the best direction in the Hindi films category for actress Ada Sharma’s film ‘The Keral Story’. The film ‘Kewal Ek Banda Khila Hai’ was chosen for the best dialogue.
