Talking to the media on Friday, Nawazuddin tied an attractive black band on his arm, which was a symbolic sign of mourning and solidarity towards the victims of the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam. When asked how such anger can be controlled, Nawazuddin replied honestly, ‘We have anger, there is too much anger but what can we do? We trust our government. They are already taking action, and we hope to get justice. ‘ 26 people, including two foreign tourists, died in this cruel attack on the Basaron Maidan, popularly popular in Pahalgam. Actress Hina Khan shared an emotional note on Instagram, calling it a ‘black day’ for the country. He wrote, “If we fail to accept reality, nothing matters.” Condemning the terrorists, he said, “The way this attack was carried out by merciless, inhuman, brain washed terrorists, who claim themselves to be a Muslim, is frightening.” Expressing further grief, Hina wrote, ‘As a Muslim, I want to apologize to all my fellow Hindus and fellow Indians.’ While the whole country is mourning, voices from Bollywood and television continue to condemn violence and demand justice for those who lost their lives in this tragedy.
