Mumbai, (IANS)| Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was nominated in the Best Actor category at the International Emmy Awards for Netflix film “Serious Men”, says it takes good people to create good content. On what according to him is more important, the content of a project or all the people working in it, Nawazuddin said in a conversation with IANS, “I think both are necessary.”
“A lot of content is being created but it will not come out and shine until the director, the actors and their performances are there.”He says that if the actors or producers are not good then the content is of no use.“However good the content is, content doesn’t matter if the actor or director is not good. It takes good people to make a good thing,” he said.
‘Serious Men’ is based on Manu Joseph’s book of the same name. The film, directed by Sudhir Mishra, is a scathing tale on ambition and caste politics, which is put into perspective in the Indian context.
