New Delhi. Neena Gupta is very happy to win the National Award after almost 30 years. The winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced on August 16, in which Neena Gupta received the Best Supporting Actress Award for the film ‘Oonchai’. She was seen in the role of Shabina Siddiqui in this film released in the year 2022. Now Neena Gupta has given her reaction on winning the National Award.
According to a Hindustan Times report, Neena Gupta was asked if she still wishes to win prestigious awards, to which she replied, “Everyone is greedy for awards. When I don’t get it, I feel sad for a while, after that I forget and think that if you work hard, you will get it someday. It feels great when you get appreciation and an award.”
