Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited film ‘Emergency’ will be released in theaters on January 17, 2025. Kangana is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in this political drama. Kangana has also written, directed and co-produced Emergency. The film is based on the emergency imposed by the former Prime Minister for 21 months from 1975 to 1977 and its aftermath. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman and the late Satish Kaushik.

Salman Khan will be seen in his upcoming action film ‘Sikander’. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, the film will release on Eid 2025. Actress Rashmika Mandanna will be seen with Salman in the film. Trisha is also in this film.

Billed as the first female-oriented YRF spy universe film, the film is directed by Shiv Rawail. Recently both Alia and Sharvari went to Kashmir for the shooting of the film.
Kantara: Chapter 1
Rishabh Shetty will be seen in Homble Films’ film, which will be released in seven languages. The film is believed to have taken place between 300 and 401 AD, during the reign of the Kadamba dynasty in the modern-day Uttara Kannada region of Karnataka. The mythological thriller will release on October 2, 2025.

Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhaava’ will be released in theaters in February 2025. Chhaava is a biographical drama on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the Maratha emperor and son of Shivaji Maharaj. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman Utekar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna in the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Fans will see Kamal Haasan opposite Silambarasan TR in ‘Thug Life’. ‘Thug Life’ will be released in theaters on June 5, 2025. This film is being described as a gangster drama. ‘Thug Life’ is directed by Mani Ratnam and co-produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies. The film stars Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Abhirami and Nassar in lead roles.

Ram Charan and Kiara Advani will be playing the lead roles in the much-awaited film ‘Game Changer’. Directed by S Shankar, the film will be released in theaters on January 10, 2025. The film also stars SJ Suryah, Nassar, Sunil Prakash Raj and Jayaram in lead roles. The film is reportedly set in the world of politics and revolves around the story of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who fights corrupt politicians and raises the issue of fair elections.

Prabhas will star in the film directed by Maruthi. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film is set for a grand theatrical release on April 10, 2025 in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. ‘Raja Saab’ also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agarwal, Riddhi Kumar, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta and Brahmanandam.

Many more films will also be released in the year 2025, among which Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’ will be released on 21 November 2025. ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ will star Ajay Devgan, Rakul Preet Singh and R Madhavan in lead roles. It will be released in theaters on 14 November 2025. Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Thamaa’ will release in theaters on Diwali 2025. Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani and Ajay Devgan’s nephew Aman Devgan will make their Bollywood debut with the much-awaited film ‘Azaad’. ‘Azad’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor is scheduled to release on January 17, 2025. Ajay also plays an important role in the film. ‘The Delhi Files’, ‘Baaghi 4’, ‘Raid 2’, ‘Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari’ will also be released in 2025.
