New Delhi. Happy Friendship Day: Friendship Day is this Sunday, 4th August. This day of friendship is celebrated on the first Sunday of August. The bond of friendship is bigger than all other relationships. Many stories, plays and films have been made on friendship. After Ramesh Sippy, Manmohan Desai brought a friendship film ‘Dharam Veer’
Just like Jai-Veeru, who are ready to live and die for each other, they were also seen in Manmohan Desai’s ‘Dharam Veer’ in 1997. Like Jai-Veeru, Manmohan also capitalized on the friendship of Dharam and Veer. Dharmendra played the role of Dharam in the film and Veer was played by Jeetendra. The song ‘Saat Ajube Is Duniya Mein’ based on friendship from the film proved to be a superhit.

Talking about the budget of ‘Sholay’ and ‘Dharam Veer’, according to SACNILC, ‘Sholay’ was made in 3 crores rupees in those days and it collected 50 crores rupees. Whereas ‘Dharam Veer’ was made in 2 crores rupees and collected 13 crores rupees.
