Pratiksha Honmukhe made her debut in the TV industry through the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Pratiksha played the character of Ruhi in the show. However, due to some problems, the show’s producer Rajan Shahi removed her and Shehzada Dhami from the show. Everyone was shocked to hear this news. Pratiksha is now seen in the show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye and the actress has now told that she had not spoken openly about this till now, but now she told how all this happened and how her parents reacted at such a time.
it was a very difficult time
While talking to Times of India, Pratiksha said, ‘It was very difficult for me. I was thinking about many things at that time. I had just started my career in the entertainment industry. I left my 7-year flying career and took such a big risk and then suddenly all this happened. But when you are good, everything good happens to you.’
Shows were offered after Yeh Rishta
On how Pratiksha prepared herself mentally after all this, she said, ‘Even after whatever happened after Yeh Rishta, I was getting shows at that time. I got 2 shows, but I was not ready to do them because mentally I was not in that space. So just like that this show came to me. I thought okay, I mean there is an opposite lead, so why not. I am happy that I took this decision because I am enjoying working here.’
what happened to me was not small
Pratiksha further said, ‘The thing is that I have seen people going into depression because what happened to me was not a small thing. Everyone was talking about it. But my family kept supporting me and they motivated me. They kept telling me that I have not done anything wrong, so when my parents were with me, I thought everything is fine. I got this show after 2 months.’
Let us tell you that when Pratiksha and Shehzada were removed from the show, Rajan Shahi had said that Pratiksha was not able to do the best work according to him, so he removed the actress. At that time, there was also news that Shehzada and Pratiksha are in a relationship, but both of them have not reacted to this till date.
