Sonam Kapoor does not observe Karva Chauth fast.
The festival of Karva Chauth is celebrated across the country today. Married women have a different enthusiasm about this festival. Married actresses of Bollywood also celebrate this festival with great pomp. Many actresses including Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra observe Karva Chauth fast for the long life of their husbands. But, there is one Bollywood actress who does not observe this fast and she has also openly talked about it. Although they do not observe fast, they definitely participate in the preparations. This is actress Sonam Kapoor, who had revealed a few years ago that she does not observe Karva Chauth fast for her husband Anand Ahuja.

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor has shared a picture on her Instagram story, in which she can be seen getting mehendi applied in Pia Anand Ahuja’s name on her hands. The actress revealed through her Instagram story that she does not observe the fast this Karva Chauth. However, she definitely enjoys the celebrations associated with it and is involved in all the preparations. Sonam Kapoor also got mehendi applied on her hands before this festival, in which everyone’s eyes were fixed on one thing.

In the photo shared by Sonam Kapoor on her Instagram story, she is seen in a white dress. Along with this, she wrote in the caption – ‘For the information of all of you, I do not fast on Karva Chauth, but I love applying mehendi, getting ready and eating good food.’ In this photo, the names of husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu can be seen in Sonam’s hands. Celebrity mehendi artist Pammi Bakshi Gautam, who applied mehendi to the actress, has also posted a picture of Sonam’s hands on her Instagram story and has also written a thank you message for her and her mother Sunita Kapoor.

However, this is not the first time that Sonam Kapoor has revealed that she does not observe Karwa Chauth fast. Even in 2018, the actress had talked about this. When Sonam was celebrating her first Karva Chauth, she had said – “I hope that I will always be able to live my most beautiful moments with you my love… and I know you as the most progressive, kind and gentleman. Happy Karva Chauth and thank you for bullying me for not keeping it.”
