Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is returning to Bollywood after eight years. The title of the film was announced in 2024. Now the teaser of his upcoming film ‘Abir Gulal’ has been released. Pakistani star will be seen opposite Bollywood actress Vani Kapoor in romantic comedy. The shooting of the film began in London on 29 September. The film will be directed by Aarti S Bagri. At the same time, it will be produced by Vivek Aggarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. On Tuesday, the makers shared the teaser of the film, in which Fawad is seen showing his singing talent in front of Vani in a car stuck in traffic amid the rain of London.

At the end of the teaser, Vani asks Fawad if she is flirting with her. In response, the actor says, “Do you want me to do this.” The makers shared a photo of the film last year, in which Fawad Khan and Vani Kapoor were seen together. The film has been shot in the UK in the months of October and November 2024. Its supporting cast will feature many best artists from India and UK. A prominent Bollywood composer has already prepared 6 original tracks for this film which has been sung by famous Bollywood singers. However, information about it has not been shared yet.

Last year, there was a lot of controversy in the country over Fawad’s film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’. The film was to be released in the country on 2 October. However, it was not released after fierce protests in many cities. Not only this, Raj Thackeray, the founder president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), strongly opposed the release of the film and said that he would not allow the Pakistani artist’s film to be released in Maharashtra under any circumstances. Fawad’s last Bollywood film was Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ released in 2016. Earlier, he has worked in ‘Kapoor and Sons’ released in 2016 and ‘Sundar’ released in 2014. Now he will return to India after eight years.
