Recently the director talked about the struggle of his father Yash Johar and said that he was never respected in the industry.
Karan Johar participated in Zakir Khan’s show Aapka Apna Zakir. He said, ‘There was not a single time that I felt that I have done a great job and the film will be a huge success at the box office, but I felt that the money would be lost, I would be on the road, where would I be, because after all I am the son of a producer. Papa was a production controller. He worked with many big directors for 30 years, but when he became a producer for the first time, he made the film Dostana by taking a loan.’
