The Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) has lashed out at Ajay Devgn’s film Runway 34. He says the way the pilots are depicted in the film is beyond reality. FIP secretary Captain CS Randhawa has expressed displeasure over the film by issuing a statement. Let us tell you that Ajay Devg, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh are in the film Runway 34. The story is based on a Doha to Kochi flight that crashed in August 2015. It was also claimed about the film that it is based on the real story.

The federation also rejected the claim of the film being based on reality. He said, the characters in the film do not reflect our professionalism properly. Misbehavior and taking drugs is absolutely not tolerated in this industry. Our pilots are extremely professional and responsible, the statement said.
