In response, Sunil told how he reached America just before the 9/11 attack. He remembered the first day of shooting when he turned on television. The actor also explained how his wife Man Mana had been worried about his safety and called him. Then he said that one day, when his room was closed, he asked for the key but it led to misunderstanding. Sunil said, ‘I had this beard and I was going to the hotel. I went to the lift and forgot my keys. There was an American gentleman, he kept watching me. I said, do you have your keys because I have forgotten my keys and my staff has gone out. I felt that he would not understand me and I gestured to it, but it had an impact against me.
Uproar in the hotel
Sunil Shetty told how the man ‘ran out and created a ruckus’ after which armed policemen came from the road. Sunil Shetty says, ‘The policemen came from the road and pointed a gun on me and said, sit down, otherwise I will shoot. I did not know what was happening. I had to sit on my knees and they handcuffed me. Then production came and one of the managers was Pakistani gentleman who told him that I was an actor. I did not know what was going to happen next. ‘ Sunil was last seen in the 2023 film Operation Friday and had a special role in the 2024 film Ruslan. He is now shooting for Welcome to the Jungle and will soon act in Hera Pheri 3.
