New Delhi. The Kerala unit of the Congress has alleged on the basis of a media report that Bollywood actress Preity Zinta took a loan of 18 crores from Mumbai’s New India Co-operative Bank which was forgiven. This is the same bank on which the RBI has banned for 6 months in the scam case of Rs 122 crore. Not only this, the Congress also claimed that Preity Zinta has given the right to handle her social media account to the BJP. At the same time, Preity Zinta has also presented her side on the allegations of Congress in this case.

Actress Preity Zinta, while replying to the allegations of the Congress through social media, wrote, I operate my social media account myself. Nobody forgives any loan of mine. The loan has been completely repaid 10 years ago. Preeti expressed displeasure and wrote, you are ashamed to promote fake news. I am surprised that a political party or their representative is promoting fake news using my name and image. This is a disgusting task. The Kerala Congress says that the account holders of New India Co-operative Bank are on the streets for their deposited money and Preity Zinta’s loan was put into the account.
Let us tell you that after the financial irregularities at the New India Co-operative Bank of Mumbai, the Reserve Bank has banned all types of transactions to be done by it. Many people including former CEO Abhimanyu Bhoan of the bank have also been arrested in this case. However, yesterday, the Reserve Bank has given relief to the bank metalists and allowed them to withdraw 25000 rupees from their account.
