Vashu Bhagnani and Jackie Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment have filed a complaint against ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar. They have accused Ali Abbas Zafar of rigging during the shooting of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. Vashu and Jackie say that Ali Abbas Zafar has misused the subsidy taken from Abu Dhabi authorities. In such a situation, Bandra Police (Mumbai) may soon summon Ali Abbas Zafar as part of the investigation of the case.
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ was beaten badly
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ flopped badly at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs 350 crore, this film barely earned Rs 100 crore at the box office. In such a situation, the makers suffered a huge loss. This is why the producers of the film in their complaint have accused the director and his associates of increasing the budget of the film, taking bribes, making challans and withdrawing money through a shell company in Abu Dhabi.
Ali Abbas Zafar has also made the allegation
Before Jackie and Vashu, Ali Abbas Zafar had accused them of not paying their fees of Rs 7.30 crore. According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, Ali Abbas Zafar had filed an official complaint with the Directors Association asking them to intervene due to which the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) had asked Jackie and Vashu the reason for not paying the dues.
