Mumbai: South superstar Allu Arjun is now making headlines for his upcoming film Pushpa-2. Recently, the teaser of the film was released, which has created a sensation in the film world. Meanwhile, another update has come out regarding the film. It is rumored that the makers have spent Rs 60 crore to shoot the 6-minute episode, which took 30 days to complete. According to insiders, the episode includes Gangamma Jatara, songs and a fight sequence. Fans got goosebumps after watching the teaser of the film on YouTube on Monday, on the occasion of the stylish star’s birthday.
Rashmika Mandanna, one of India’s most expensive actresses, will once again be seen with Allu Arjun in the film. Apart from this, Fahid Fazil, Sunila, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Dhananjay and Rao are playing lead roles in the film directed by Ramesh Sukumar. The makers are completing the shooting of the film on a war footing for its worldwide release on August 15.
Meanwhile, there is a lot of buzz about Pushpa 2: The Rule with a budget of Rs 500 crore, the popular production house and music company T-Series has spent Rs 60 crore and brought the worldwide music rights and Hindi satellite rights. Star Maa has acquired Telugu satellite rights, but the amount spent to get the rights has not been disclosed. On the other hand, Netflix, one of the OTT giants, has brought the digital streaming rights by paying Rs 100 crore to the producers.
On the film front, Allu Arjun is taking part in the production of Pushpa3, the sequel to Pushpa2, where part of the shooting has already been completed. The makers will make an announcement on the theatrical release of Pushpa 3. It has been revealed that Allu Arjun has agreed to do a film under the direction of Atlee of Jawan fame, which will be produced by Sun Pictures. He is also going to star in a film directed by Akhanda fame Boyapati Srinu produced by Geeta Arts. According to sources close to the Pushpa star, her collaboration with Animal fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga is in the pipeline.
