Mumbai Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra is accused of money laundering through distribution of pornography and adult films. Now Raj Kundra’s troubles may increase. Raj Kundra has been summoned by ED for questioning in the money laundering case. Raj Kundra has to appear at the ED office in Mumbai tomorrow i.e. Monday at 11 am. Recently, ED had raided the houses and locations of Raj Kundra and other people associated with this case. These raids of ED were conducted in many cities of Uttar Pradesh as well as Mumbai. Let us tell you that Raj Kundra has already been in jail in the pornography case. Now if ED arrests him, then there may be a problem in bail.
Other people accused in the distribution of pornography and adult films have also been called for questioning by the ED. At the same time, Raj Kundra’s lawyer Prashant Patil says that Shilpa Shetty’s husband and his client are innocent. Raj Kundra’s lawyer claims that he has not committed any crime. The lawyer claims that Mumbai Police, while investigating the pornography case, found that Raj Kundra did all the transactions legally and also deposited income tax. Raj Kundra’s lawyer claims that his client has not committed money laundering. In the month of May 2022, Mumbai Police had arrested Raj Kundra and some other accused. Mumbai Police had accused everyone of pornography and adult film distribution through the app.
Raj Kundra has already said that Mumbai Police added his name in the FIR later. Raj Kundra says that there is no evidence against him in the pornography case. Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra says that his name has been forcefully dragged into this case. This is the second case of money laundering against Raj Kundra. Earlier, ED had seized assets worth Rs 98 crore of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in another money laundering case. In that case, Shilpa and Raj Kundra were given relief by the Bombay High Court.
