Mid-Day reported that director Nitesh Tiwari is leaving no stone unturned to bring the mythological world of ‘Ramayana’ alive on the big screen. It is being said that 12 grand sets are being built in Mumbai’s Film City to recreate Ayodhya and Mithila. According to the information, all these sets will be ready by mid-August, after which the star cast of the film will start shooting again.

‘Ramayana’ will be made in a budget of 835 crores
Earlier, Bollywood Hungama reported on the basis of sources that ‘Ramayana’ is being made on a huge budget of Rs 835 crore. The source said, ‘Ramayana is not just a film but an emotion and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it on a global level. The budget of $ 100 million (Rs 835 crore) is only for Ramayana: Part One.’ The source also said that at least 600 days will be required for the post-production of ‘Ramayana’. With this film, the makers are planning to take Indian cinema to the global level.

Recently, many reports claimed that Kunal Kapoor has also joined the star cast of ‘Ramayana’. A source told Pinkvilla that these days Kunal Kapoor is busy in rehearsals and costume trials. However, the makers did not reveal which character he will be seen in the film ‘Ramayana’. Till now the makers have not announced the release date of ‘Ramayana’, but it is believed that this movie can hit the theaters in the year 2027.
