The story of ‘Rita Sanyal’ begins in a light-hearted manner, where lawyer Rita (Adah Sharma) is fighting a unique case. In this case she is defending a dog, Rocky, who is accused of jumping a fence and fathering four puppies. After this, there is a big twist in the story when Rita meets a man named Keshav outside the court, whose mother is accused of murdering an MLA.
Keshav claims that he has committed a ‘perfect murder’ and that his mother is innocent. Rita now decides to fight this case. While fighting the case, he comes across an old rival Thakral (Rahul Dev), who is a lawyer by profession and is also responsible for the death of Rita’s father. Now this fight is not limited to the courtroom only, but also turns into personal enmity.
