New Delhi. Ajay Devgan starrer and Rohit Shetty directed action blockbuster ‘Singham Again’ is soon going to stream on a popular OTT platform. Released on 1 November 2024, the film made a massive collection of ₹360.75 crore at the box office. Those viewers who could not watch it in theaters will now be able to enjoy this film at home.

In this film, Ajay Devgan has again played the strong character of DCP Bajirao Singham, while Kareena Kapoor Khan has played the role of his wife Avni Kamat. Ranveer Singh was seen as ACP Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao and Akshay Kumar was seen in the role of DCP Veer Suryavanshi. Deepika Padukone played the role of SP Shakti Shetty, while Tiger Shroff was seen in the role of ACP Satya.
Arjun Kapoor played the role of villain Danger Lanka in the film, and Jackie Shroff showed his acting talent in the role of Omar Hafeez. Salman Khan has made a special cameo in the form of his famous character Chulbul Pandey. Other lead actors include Dayanand Shetty, Shweta Tiwari, Siddharth Jadhav and Ravi Kishan.
What is the story of the film?
The story of ‘Singham Again’ is inspired by Ramayana, in which Kareena’s character is shown as Sita, who is kidnapped. Ajay Devgan’s character DCP Bajirao Singham teams up with other heroes from Rohit Shetty’s cop universe to fight an epic battle to save her. This film is Rohit Shetty’s first attempt as a writer, in which he has tried to combine mythology with action.
This is the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a direct sequel to ‘Singham Returns’. In this, the characters of Ramayana have been presented in a modern form, in which Ajay Devgan is seen in the role of Ram and Kareena Kapoor is seen in the role of Sita.
When will it be released on OTT?
The film is expected to stream on Prime Video from 27 December 2024, although official confirmation is yet to be confirmed. Made under the banner of Rohit Shetty Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios and Devgan Films, this film has made a place in the hearts of fans with its explosive release.
