Recently, American actress Annalyn McCord was a victim of trolling by making a unique appeal for peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Now after trolling, she is seen defending her ‘Imagine’ poem. The actress has once again shared a post for Russian President Vladimir Putin on social media.
Explaining the reason for writing the poem, the actress writes, “I know how I could have easily progressed towards becoming a dictator had my life circumstances been different. What if my life circumstances were like Putin’s? I lean less towards peace and more towards revenge? I too could have been a powerful person.”
McCord added, she hopes to raise awareness of the changes needed within the “education system” to “protect children and prevent dictators and abusers.”
The 34 actress had said in an earlier video, “Dear President Vladimir Putin, I am very sorry that I was not your mother.” His video immediately went viral on Twitter. Due to this, the actress was ridiculed a lot.
McCord was one of many Hollywood celebrities to speak out about the Russian invasion. Ukrainian stars such as Regina Spektor, Vera Farminga and Maxim Chmerkovskiy expressed their anger at the violence.
