New Delhi. The auto driver who took Saif Ali Khan to the hospital after the attack told what happened that night, when Saif sat in his auto, what was his condition and who was with him? Although the auto driver could not recognize Saif, he came to know later when Saif himself told his name after reaching the hospital. The name of the auto driver is Bhajanlal Singh Rana.

Bhajanlal told that that night I was going through Linkin Road, near the Regency Hotel, where Satguru Building is, I heard voices from there and then a woman came running saying ‘Rickshaw, Rickshaw…’. When I stopped the rickshaw, the woman told me that there was an emergency, someone was injured, I turned the auto and stopped it under the building. After this, four-five people came, including a woman, then I saw a man soaked in blood, I got scared and then that man came and sat in my auto, his clothes were soaked in blood, I got scared seeing this. However, amidst the chaos, I could not see that he was Saif. A child and another man were sitting with him in the auto. He was talking to them in English.

After reaching Lilavati Hospital, the injured man himself got down from the auto and told the hospital staff, ‘I am Saif Ali Khan, bring the stretcher’. The auto driver said that after this I came to know that he is Saif. The people the auto driver talked about with Saif in the auto are probably Ibrahim and Taimur. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister Yogesh Kadam has denied the involvement of any gang in the attack on Saif. It was only a case of attempted theft and no gang is involved in the incident, the minister said, adding that the police are investigating the matter further. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has said that the person brought to Bandra Police Station for questioning has no connection with the case of attack on Saif Ali Khan.
