New Delhi. Now a new update has come out in the attack case on Saif Ali Khan. Chhattisgarh Railway Police has detained a person traveling in Gyaneshwari Express at Durg railway station. Mumbai Police had sent the person’s photograph to Chhattisgarh Railway Protection Force after which he was identified and detained. Inspector Sanjeev Sinha of Railway Protection Force posted in Durg confirmed this. The name of the arrested person is Akash Kailash Kanojia and his age is 30 years.

Sanjeev Sinha told that we had received a call from Mumbai Police this afternoon and they had sent the photo of a suspect related to the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Mumbai Police had informed that the suspicious person was traveling by Dnyaneshwari Express, and had asked us to take him into custody. We checked the train and found him sitting in the forward general compartment. After this we got him down from the train and confirmed with Mumbai Police. When Mumbai Police said that yes, he was the one they were looking for, then we took him into custody. The suspect is a resident of Mumbai.

Bilaspur Zone IG RPF Munawwar Khurshid said that Mumbai Police’s Assistant Police Inspector had received information about this suspect from Juhu Police Station. The suspect was brought to Durg RPF post and contacted Mumbai Police officials through video call. Mumbai Police team is reaching Raipur to take the suspect. Earlier the news had come that a team of Mumbai Police has also detained a person in Madhya Pradesh and he is being interrogated.
