Recently, a controversy arose due to the tweet made on Hindi by South actor Kicha Sudeep. Responding to this, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan had said that according to you if Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Now the reaction of actress Kangana Ranaut has also come to the fore on this controversy.
,Everyone is proud of their language”: In response to a question asked on the ruckus on the national language, Kangana Ranaut said, “There is no direct answer to this question. We are a country with so many diversities, many languages and cultures. Everyone has a birth right to be proud of their language and culture. I am a Pahari and I am proud of it.”
“Sanskrit should be the national language”: Kangana further said that “If you ask me which language should be the national language, I think it should be Sanskrit. Sanskrit is older than Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati or Hindi. All these languages have come from Sanskrit. Then why Sanskrit didn’t become the national language and became Hindi? I don’t have the answer. These are decisions taken at that time (when the Constitution was written).”
“To deny Hindi means to reject Delhi government”: On the controversy raised over the national language “Hindi”, Kangana further said that “when you deny Hindi (as the national language), you are denying ‘Delhi ki Sarkar’. You do not consider Delhi as the centre. Whatever is happening in construction, whatever acts are being passed, whatever is happening in Delhi is happening in Hindi only.
Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Dhaakad’ is going to be released soon. Talking about this, Kangana Ranaut said- ‘We are going to dub Dhakad (movie) in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
