Mumbai. Actress Sanya Malhotra has said that it is important to create a flexible learning environment for people suffering from neurodivergence. Autism Awareness Month is celebrated in April. This month is dedicated to raising awareness about autism.
Neurodivergent is a brain disorder which is a developmental disability caused by differences in brain functioning. Recently, actress Sanya, who was seen in the film ‘Sam Bahadur’, participated in the inauguration ceremony of ‘So-Hum Smiles’, a special school for neurodivergent individuals.
School is much better than therapy center
This school is supported by an NGO that provides care and support to neurodivergent people. Sanya believes that the school is more than just a therapy centre, it is also a symbol of inclusivity, empowerment and compassion. The actress said that I am really happy that this center is opening which will provide support to neurodivergent individuals, this is the need of the hour. It is important for these people to find a flexible environment on life skills and independent living. Sanya said that it is essential for these children and adults to get acceptance and place for the betterment of the society. I am sure the center will make a positive impact on countless lives.
